Testing areas that could be expanded. Some of these have existing proposals, indicated by the legend (xx weeks). Where a link is provided, it is to extract data from the LSB database. The nature of the last few testing areas is such that they do not correlate directly with interfaces, and no database link is provided for those.

  1. ncurses Tests: 7.3% increase of specification coverage (13 weeks)
  2. Core System Tests: 5% increase of specification coverage (18 weeks)
  3. X Windows System Tests: 20.7% increase of specification coverage (15 weeks)
  4. Socket/RPC Interface Tests: 3% increase of specification coverage (13 weeks)
  5. Enhanced Dynamic Loading Tests: 0.05% increase of specification coverage (7 weeks)
  6. Large File Interface Tests: 2% increase of specification coverage (10 weeks)
  7. Development Environment Tests: These tests have been used for other similar platforms, and cover items such as tools, headers, and library contents (15 weeks)
  8. gABI and psABI Tests: These ABI tests correspond to the ELF related chapters of the Specification. These tests cover important aspects which are not touched by any other test suites (12 weeks)
