Minutes June 2 2010

From The Linux Foundation

Attendees:

Jeff Licquia (LF), Stew Benedict (LF), Alan Clark (Novell), Robert Schweikert (Novell), Russ Herrold (Owl River), Jiri Dhulos (Novell)

Agenda:

  • Update 2 status and fixes.

Minutes:

Jeff: Reviewing http://bugs.linuxbase.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2758, comment 11, it looks like we have issues with core-test, cpp-t2c, desktop-t2c, qt3-azov, and missing lsb-lynx, lsb-libchk.
Jeff: Also looks like issues with olver-core, Stew - you were seeing more failures with the update?
Stew: Yes, we rolled devel into 4.0, so there are a lot more tests (almost twice as many)
Jeff: Ok, so the work to be done, it sounds like we have 4 rebuilds, and 2 builds we missed. Then investigate olver-core more thoroughly as times permits

Jeff: Stew and I are working on Meego related projects, but I believe we're still on track for LSB 4.1. I think we're a little ahead of schedule, so we have some breathing room. Hopefully once Meego work gets organized, we can get back on track.

Jeff: Are there concerns about the level of activity on LSB 4.1?
Robert: As long as the schedule doesn't slip, I think we're OK
Alan: I agree with Robert

Jeff: Anything else anyone wants to discuss?
Jiri: Are you aware of issues with the cpp-t2c and desktop-t2c tests for 4.0 on s390?
Stew: Yes, these should be corrected with the updates
Jeff: jiri, can you test the updates when they are available?
Jiri: Yes

End of call
