  • Status update on LSB 4.1.
  • Fun with dl_iterate_phdr and ELF.

Jeff: 4.1 Status update: dl_iterate_phdr caused several problems in building the sdk and other packages
Jeff: infrastructure - mostly status quo to bring autobuilders back up after shutdown to manually build 4.0 updates
Jeff: ALSA, t2c-alsa - no change in status
Jeff: symbol inclusion - dl_iterate_phdr is added
Jeff: GTK, CUPS - no changes
Jeff: any questions?
Jeff: so now builds are working after we pushed elf.h back to earlier versions of LSB
Jeff: on ia64 it looks like we're missing a macro still
Jeff: on x86 it looks like the appchk self-test is segfaulting, also libchk self-test is failing, with no details
Jeff: ppc32, s390, s390x also segfaulting on self-test
Mats: can we discuss the 4.0 updates that were the reason we stopped the autobuilds?
Stew: basically 4 issues, libchk on s390, cpp-t2c on ppc,s390/s390x. Symbols for s390 seem to be attributed to the wrong glibc version, cpp-t2c has 900-some fails (SIGSEGV)
Jeff: would be interesting to see if thing build ok with an older sdk
Alexey: Any feedback on my list of links for dist-checker/app-checker on LDN?
Jeff: Will try to get to those soon
Alexey: And what about the new download page we discussed at the F2F?
Jeff: I still need to get full buy-in from Amanda

hole - I got disconnected

Jeff: looks like the important thing is to fix the download page links, and put the new one in place if no-one objects.
Jeff: anything else?

End of Call
