We have planned evening events for Kernel Summit attendees in a diverse group of venues that will give you a taste of the variety that Tokyo has to offer.
Sunday, October 18th - 6:00pm
Meet in the Lobby of the Hotel Villa Shiodome to receive your Kernel Summit name badge before being escorted to Sai Restaurant, which is located in the building next door. After cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in a traditional Japanese-style bar, we will sit down to a traditional Japanese banquet dinner - complete with Tatami mat seating.
Monday, October 19th - 5:30pm
Meet in the Lobby of the Hotel Villa Shiodome to catch the shuttle bus to Roppongi Hills, where we will have dinner at BICE Tokyo, an Italian restaurant located on the 52nd floor, with panaramic views of Tokyo.
Tuesday, October 20th - 5:15pm
Meet in the Lobby of the Hotel Villa Shiodome to catch the shuttle bus to Gonpachi Restaurant in Ginza for a sushi dinner.
Wednesday, October 21st - 5:30pm
For Kernel Summit attendees staying for Japan Linux Symposium, you are invited to this VIP reception for JLS which will take place at MADO, another restaurant in Roppongi Hills with views of all of Tokyo. You will be escorted directly to Mado from the ANA Hotel, where the JLS keynotes sessions will take place that day.
