Added. * Went through all the open tickets to document the current state. CIP Testing project (B@D in particular) has been moved to maintenance mode on based effort basis due to the end of the service contract on Wed Nov. 8th * Please check the report sent to cip-dev mailing list about [[https://lists.cip-project.org/pipermail/cip-dev/2017-November/000667.html|weeks 43 and 44]] * KernelCI * Nori contacted to Jan-Simon to ask options for KernelCI collaboration * E.g. Include CIP kernel in KernelCI dashboard * [[https://kernelci.org/|https://kernelci.org/]] * Jan-Simon and Nori (hopefully Yoshi) will discuss options * Question to TSC members? * Does it reasonable option for CIP kernel testing? * B@D for CIP members for local testing and sharing the results * KerneiCI for CI ==== Kernel maintenance ==== * Sent notes on Y2038 meeting and various talks to the cip-dev list * Reviewed changes in Linux 4.4.93-4.4.95 inclusive. * Applied patches to remove firmware from kernel source * Patch review guidelines as first step towards training kernel devs from Members as future CIP kernel maintainers in progress. ==== Functional Safety ==== * Hitachi will meet Lukas 14th November in Japan ==== Yocto and CIP collaboration ==== * Sean will provide us with his proposal around the November 3rd. (Update?) * No update from Mentor at this moment. ==== Debian Collaboration ==== * Yoshi to meet Chris Lamb in Tokyo in November. * Questions to Debian Community: How CIP can collaborate with Debian in terms of the extended LTS. * CIP will discuss internally about what CIP can do to help Debian LTS before speaking with Debian community. * Yoshi’s DebConf Slides include a preliminary ideas about the collaboration with Debian, which should be the starting point. Yoshi will send out the slides to the members. * Yoshi will meet Michael C. Jaeger (Fossology project.) * Ask him about sharing license clearing result
